Welcome aboard Azul, a one-of-a-kind vintage gentleman’s cruiser with a story as timeless as the sea itself.

Built in 1948 by the Dorset Yacht Company in the UK, Azul is a rare Hawfinch-class wooden vintage boat. Entirely crafted from rich walnut and mahogany, she offers a warm, luxurious, and nostalgic experience that fiberglass and steel simply can't replicate.

Originally designed for leisure, Azul features two double sleeping cabins, a bathroom with a shower&toilet, a cozy saloon with a bar and kitchen, and a steering cabin — all exuding classic charm.

Azul spent decades cruising the waters of the UK, Germany, and Belgium before finding her way to Mallorca, where her story entered a new chapter.

Captain Jous, your skipper and host, has a lifelong passion for the sea. With decades of experience in tourism and hospitality, and a background as a professional dive instructor, he’s explored marine life all over the world — including 15 years in Mallorca. Boats have always been part of his life, from RIBs to sailboats and catamarans, and he's known for restoring each one with care and craftsmanship. The captain speaks fluently Spanish, French, English, and Dutch — so whether you’re here from near or far, you’ll feel right at home on board.

In 2016, Jous and his wife Nathalie found Azul as an empty shell in need of love. Over countless hours, they transformed her with sanding, painting, varnishing, and custom woodwork — preserving her vintage soul while opening up bright, spacious areas for comfort and style. For Jous, sanding has become a second hobby, a meditative ritual in keeping Azul beautiful and seaworthy.

In 2019, the couple brought Azul to life once more, sailing from Marseille to Barcelona, and crossing the Balearic Sea to Pollensa, Mallorca. Since 2021, Azul has found her home in the stunning Port de Sóller, where she now offers guests unforgettable experiences on the Mediterranean.
